Daily styling, heat and coloring create "holes" in the hair fibers. In such a situation, Biokeratin acts as “liquid patch" - it penetrates the hair cortex, fills in damaged areas and restores hair strength and elasticity. As a result, it fills in structural damage.
Biokeratin helps to close the hair scales (cuticle). When the scales are smooth, the hair does not fluff in wet weather, natural moisture is retained inside the hair and the hair becomes silky and easier to comb. As a result, biokeratin provides deep hydration and has an "Anti-frizz" effect.
Biokeratin provides hair with natural shine and color protection. Smooth and healthy hair reflects light better, creating a natural, healthy glow. Studies using labeled molecules and microscopy prove that low molecular weight proteins (peptides) are able to penetrate the cuticle and deposit in the hair cortex.
