Learn how to use rosehip oil for the face in autumn. Discover its fatty acids, correct layering and MARUSHA serum and face cream with rosehip oil.
Rosehip seed oil is a popular autumn skincare ingredient because it supplies emollient fatty acids and helps dry, dull skin feel softer. It does not add water to the skin on its own, so it works best when layered with a hydrating product or used within a complete cream or serum formula.
What rosehip oil contributes
Rosehip seed oil contains linoleic and alpha-linolenic fatty acids together with naturally occurring antioxidant compounds. It improves skin softness and reduces the rough feel of dry skin.
Oil does not replace hydration
If dehydrated skin only receives oil, it may still feel tight. Apply a hydrating mist or face cream first, then use a few drops of oil serum. This combines water-based hydration with lipids that help reduce moisture loss.
MARUSHA products with rosehip oil
MARUSHA CoQ10 Face Serum combines rosehip with sea buckthorn, broccoli seed and avocado oils. MARUSHA Vegan Collagen Face Cream also contains rosehip seed oil within a moisturising formula with aloe, shea butter and squalane. This is excellent combination for face care in autumn.
How much to use
Start with two or three drops of oil serum for the entire face. Press it into the skin rather than rubbing. Use fewer drops under or after cream or make-up and a slightly richer application at night if the skin remains comfortable.

MARUSHA Recommendation
Build the routine around your skin’s actual needs. Start with gentle cleansing, add water-based hydration, use a small amount of oil serum where needed and finish with a moisturising cream. Introduce one new product at a time so you can assess comfort and results
